About the Event
At this critical time for our nation, it is important for us, the members of the League of Women Voters of Leelanau County, to participate in planning for the League and help to guide our efforts for the coming year. We will gather for lunch to discuss both our local League’s work and the Program Planning necessary before the June 2026 national Convention.
During lunch at each table, we will have a guided discussion of the LWVLC’s Program that was adopted at last year’s Annual Meeting and brainstorm ideas for improvements if they are needed.
After lunch we will prepare for the LWV Convention, June 25-28, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. At the Convention, a Program will be adopted which will guide the education and advocacy efforts at the national level.
